The Women's Premier Soccer League is an independent highly competitive national league whose main focus is on the development of highly competitive premier women's soccer teams. The WPSL was formed in 1998 and is sanctioned by the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA), who is an affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), the ruling body of soccer in the United States and FIFA the world's ruling body for soccer.
The Empire United CNY Revs will compete in the Mid-Atlantic Division in the League's Eastern Conference for the 2017 season. The division stretches from New York to Northern Virginia, and consists of 7 teams, and each team plays each other home and away. The team's home matches will be played at the Empire United Soccer Complex, located at 1520 John St., West Henrietta, NY 14586.
